Robert Benson, PhD, Managing Principal Rob Benson is a co-founder of Spinnaker. He has accumulated extensive domestic and international expertise leading the design and implementation of supply chain management solutions for the Semiconductor, Energy, and Industrial Products industries. Prior to Spinnaker, Mr. Benson held roles at Solutions Consulting and Advanced Micro Devices. He received his undergraduate degree in Operations Research from Cornell University, along with his M.S. and Ph.D. in Operations Research from University of California at Berkeley. In 1995 he was awarded the Franz Edelman Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the practical application of Operations Research and Management Science, for his work developing scheduling algorithms for the semiconductor industry.
Jeff Jorgensen, Principal Jeff Jorgensen is a seasoned executive with more than 12 years of Sales, Business Development and Management Consulting experience defining strategies, crafting pioneering solutions and leading business transformation efforts. Prior to joining Spinnaker, Mr. Jorgensen led Solution Development and Deal Shaping teams in Accenture’s rapidly growing Business Process Outsourcing division and contributing to Innovation and Offering Management efforts for the outsourcing practice area. He has a demonstrated track record of designing and executing business change through scalable outsourced solutions for global industry leaders within Financial Services, High-Tech, Telecommunications, and Energy/Resources industry groups. His diverse experience includes defining Go-To-Market strategies for growth-oriented small to medium sized businesses, managing the development and implementation of order management systems, as well as orchestrating complex process redesign programs for large multi-national organizations. Mr. Jorgensen is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio where he received a Bachelors of Applied Science in Engineering Management. Brett Miller, Controller Brett Miller is a Colorado CPA with over 25 years experience in financial reporting and controls. Prior to joining Spinnaker, he had over 7 years experience in the audit practice of a CPA firm in Houston, Texas. Upon leaving as an Audit Partner, Brett joined private companies as Controller in various industries including insurance, financial services, professional services consulting and hospitality. For 8 years, Brett worked for a professional services consulting firm with an emphasis on Federal Defense Contracting in the Human Resources and Information Technologies fields. Brett has extensive experience in financial process control and procedures. Mr. Miller received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Western Michigan University and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Master’s of Business Administration in Finance. Michael E. Pardun, Principal Michael Pardun is a seasoned executive with nearly 16 years of leadership in Enterprise Software, Storage, Venture Capital and Telecommunications, in North America and Europe. Mr. Pardun’s experience includes positions with start-ups and established firms where he has a proven track record of success and extensive experience in the areas of Corporate, Product and GoTo Market Strategy, Business Development, Direct and Channel Sales, Operations and Marketing. Additionally, Mr. Pardun has participated in both sides of the fundraising process; personally participating in raising over $400M in private equity and debt and directly participating in two Initial Public Offerings; including a joint offering on both the FTSE & NYSE. Mr. Pardun holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego and has attended the Executive Management program at the London School of Economics. John Sharkey, Principal John Sharkey is a management consultant with a primary focus in Supply Chain and Operations Management consulting. Prior to joining Spinnaker he worked as a management consultant in the lean manufacturing practice at Ernst & Young and the supply chain technology practice at Orion Consulting. An expert in the design, development and implementation of supply chain solutions, Mr. Sharkey has worked with companies in the Semiconductor, Consumer Packaged Goods, Medical Products, Telecommunications, Paper, and Industrial Products industries in a variety of project leadership and management, strategy development, business process re-engineering, and technical solution development roles. Mr. Sharkey received his undergraduate degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management, where he was a fellow in the Leaders for Manufacturing program. Mathew Stava, Managing Principal Mathew Stava is a co-founder of Spinnaker. Mathew has over 14 years of experience in the consulting, software and supply chain industries including position with such firms as Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Solutions Consulting (now Perot Systems). At Solutions Consulting, he was Practice Director of the Supply Chain practice, leading and delivering supply chain projects at clients such as ExxonMobil, Kelloggs, Coca-Cola Bottling, and Honeywell. He has accumulated extensive experience working with senior management of corporations developing the strategic vision and design of supply chain business processes and applications for the Energy, Consumer Product Goods, and Pharmaceutical industries. Mathew’s executive leadership is responsible for Spinnaker’s consistent growth in sales and revenue, including acquisitions and corporate development. Mr. Stava is a graduate of Kansas University where he received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. He also completed the Study Abroad program at Leicester University in England with a specialization in International Business.
