Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine Recognizes Spinnaker a Leader in Delivering Sustainable Supply Chain Solutions

Houston, TX. December 19, 2018 – Spinnaker, the international provider of supply chain consulting and returns management solutions, is a 2018 recipient of the 11th Annual Green Supply Chain Award for the eighth consecutive year. This year's awards recognize small, mid-size and large enterprises that leveraged green practices and solutions to further drive sustainable improvements in their supply chain.

The Green Supply Chain Award recognizes companies making green or sustainability a core part of their supply chain strategy and are working to achieve measurable sustainability goals within their own operations and supply chains. The awards also recognize providers of supply chain solutions and services assisting their customers in achieving measurable sustainability goals.

Spinnaker designs and operates sustainable supply chains for Fortune 500 companies with a strategic focus within Remanufacturing and Reuse of a wide variety of products. We have successfully designed and implemented programs that divert in excess of 1.5MM pounds of material from landfills through remanufacturing, reuse and recycling. “We are proud to once again receive this award for the 8th year in a row. “Spinnaker’s focus on Reduce, Reuse, Reman, and Recycle has always been an important objective as a firm, and receiving this award helps to emphasize and support our company’s values.” remarks Jeff Jorgensen.

"This year's award recipients place a critical emphasis on green initiatives within their companies and supply chains," says John R. Yuva, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "Entries provide examples of innovative approaches and impressive metrics of sustainability programs."

"We congratulate this year's honorees for their commitment to sustainability and recognize their tremendous achievements," Yuva adds. "Our honorees serve as role models for supply chains globally to expand their reach and impact of green leadership."
