Systems Administrator

Job Description

Spinnaker, a global leader in supply chain consulting and execution services, has an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator in their Haverhill, MA facility. The Systems Administrator assists with enabling technology and processes within the supply chain on a day-to-day basis. It includes inventory, production planning, and warehouse management; it may include defining UAT test scenarios and participating in the UAT as well as performing regression testing where needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and rectify Inventory Accuracy between EMS and Nokia SAP systems.

  • Act as First level of Applications Tools support. Record, document low to high level SCO Applications Issues/Improvements. Based on level of urgency, direct to appropriate owner on Applications team. Coordinate with Team lead to prioritize for review on Action Tracker.

  • On a project basis, work with SCO Business Developers, Product Planners and Applications Team to spec out and document development actions required to improve process and systems as aligned with the Organizations KPIs. Follow up to ensure assigned.

  • Ability to organize meetings with peers to ensure SAP/Training/TL9000 documentation is reviewed, renewed and released on-time.

  • Work closely with Spinnaker Warehouse, Order fulfillment and management personnel to ensure changes in process’ are communicated and training fulfilled.

  • Individual contributor in a team environment whose role supports the Organizations KPIs and Organizations Projects under the direction of Team Lead/Manager.

  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter

  • Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems

  • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns

  • Create and verify backups of data

  • Respond to and resolve help desk requests

  • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution

  • Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes

  • Review application logs

  • Install and test computer-related equipment

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years’ experience. 5-8 years SAP experience in Materials Management

Job Skills:

  • Process & Template Documentation Communication and multi-tasking skills

  • Knowledgeable in SAP Inventory Systems

  • 1-5 years of relevant experience and demonstrated PMI leadership capabilities

  • Excellent Troubleshooting abilities

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills

  • Self-Starter

  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

  • Excellent communication skills
